Each portrait is drawn from photos you provide of your own pet. These custom portraits are not generic drawings of a particular breed. Sending more than one photograph is recommended.

Portraits are hand drawn in pastels on art paper, not computer generated. Each is “photo-realistic” and captures your pet’s likeness, right down to the colors, cute wet nose, and sparkle in the eyes.

Portraits are one-of-a-kind, with or without a background, horizontal or vertical orientation. They make a unique gift or a treasured memento of a beloved pet for the dog lover in your life.

“After having to give up painting and drawing decades ago due to lack of time, I went back to basics in 2020 during the infamous “lock-down”. It has been great to pick up art again. Found a great drawing book in the library, and started taking online pet portrait drawing lessons in July ’20. Whether it’s pets or wildlife, feathers or fur (or even flippers), every pet portrait is a wonderful challenge. I love bringing a drawing to life to the point it looks like a photograph!”
